While one might think that the big bucks raised for TV ads caused the 2012 victory for marriage equality in Maryland on Election Day, it is certain that one-to-one conversations between supporters and their friends, family, co-workers and neighbors played a key role too. Encouraging such conversations was a primary focus of the Marylanders for Marriage Equality Coalition in the summer prior to Election Day.
