After a day of focusing on scholarship and teaching, this session focusing on weaving together all aspects of life as critical, progressive, and social justice oriented legal academics and succeeding without "selling out" your identity. This session discusses the basics of professionalism in the context of the North American legal academy, including key questions on institutional politics, "collegiality," and similar topics that are elemental to academic success. It also incorporates reflections upon ways and mean of balancing the various demands on our time and energy as critical and progressive scholars and teachers. This session ends with open discussion and question/answers.
