Narrative

The blue moon is the second full moon of the month and thus something extraordinary and precious in nature. Here the strips form an impressionistic picture of the moon in the night sky. In some way, all of Patricia's quilts show something emerging from the background.

The Blue Moon quilt was exhibited on loan to the law school for several years before being replaced with Polar Bears at Las Fallas.
