JD, the alumni magazine of the University of Maryland School of Law, is published annually by the Office of Institutional Advancement and distributed to more than 10,000 alumni, friends, supporters, academic peers, students and prospective students. In addition to providing news about happenings at the law school, JD engages its readers in substantive assessments of pressing contemporary issues in legal education and the practice of law.
