Start Date

End Date

Description
Colin Cloherty, a former NFL player and current UM Carey Law student, talks about the sport's "locker room" mentality which encourages athletes to play with head injuries--a situation he hopes will change as athletes, coaches, and other professionals learn more about the effects of concussions. "There isn't a lot of carryover between professional athletes and that locker room mentality and academia," Cloherty says. "I'm in a unique position where I can be a bridge to help the two sides communicate."
